Panasonic HDC-SD9 World’s Smallest Camcorder
The CES’08 saw the birth of Panasonic’s new innovation with the HDC-SD9 Digital Camcorder. The camcorder is a blend of style and powerful technology for optimum efficiency. The full-High Definition 3CCD camcorder records to built-in 60GB hard drive and also supports an SD (or SDHC) Memory Card for storage. The world’s smallest camcorder records superior videos at 1920x1080 resolutions and is the first to use Face detection function in recording of moving images.
The lightweight device incorporates Advanced MEGA Optical Image Stabilizer and a Leica Dicomar lens for producing extraordinary output. The MEGA OIS balances camera shakes around 4,000 times per second which is approximately eight times extra than its predecessors. The HDC-SD9 supports Panasonic's VIERA Link and connects to a VIERA HDTV using an HDMI cable. Other robust features include:
