Canon USA Inc presented its esteemed VIXIA family of High-Definition camcorders at the CES’08 including the new HV30 HD camcorder. Incorporating Canon’s core technologies HV30 HD guarantees perfection with every footage it captures. Enhancing the highly celebrated Canon HV20 HD Camcorder, the company added many robust features to HV30 HD. Powered with the DIGIC DV II Image Processor it performs a number of functions including Instant Auto Focus, Super Range Optical Image Stabilization with superior color and clarity.
The HV30 HD camcorder is covered with elite Black exterior and a 2.7’ Widescreen Multi-Angle LCD adds brilliance to its sophisticated design. Amazingly, the camcorder has been optimized to record HD quality video to MiniDV cassettes. Other features comprise of Genuine Canon 10X HD Video Lens, Canon 2.96 Mega-pixel Full HD CMOS Image Sensor, a 30p Progressive Mode (and 24p Cinema Mode) and Canon's high capacity BP-2L24H Lithium-ion battery.
The Canon VIXIA HV30 HD camcorder will be available in February at the nearest dealer for a street price of $999.
