For a standard definition, hybrid HDD/SDHC camcorder, the Panasonic SDR-H200 looks like a good choice. It has its caveats, but for the advanced point-and-shoot user, it seems to do the trick. CamcorderInfo takes a look at this particular camcorder in their Panasonic SDR-H200 review, and come to the conclusion that, ‘this is the HDD or hybrid camcorder to buy for power users not looking to upgrade to high definition just yet, as long as you can deal with the poor low light performance.’
