In reality, the AJ-HPX3000 is designed for TV, film, and commercial production companies. It records to solid-state P2 cards in either DVCPRO HD or AVC-Intra formats. Equipped with 5 P2 cards slots, with 16GB cards installed the HPX3000 will net you 80 minutes of recording time at the highest-quality setting. Once 32GB P2 cards are released, this will of course double.
Announced back in April, the Panasonic AJ-HPX3000 begins shipping this month.
