Samsung has taken the lull between CES and the PMA photography show to introduce its latest digital camera, the ES10. This 8.1 megapixel shooter will target those who are looking for a first time digital camera, featuring a whole bunch of automatic features so that you won't have to get bogged down by adjusting the shutter speed or flash lighting mode, and we rightly guess seasoned veterans of manual controls will give the ES10 a pass. Features include face detection and a self portrait mode, a slideshow mode, sensitivity up to ISO 1,600, full VGA video capture and an SD/SDHC memory card slot. There is no word on pricing or availability though, but chances are pretty good for the ES10 to hit the US since there were no hang ups in the past before.
