General Imaging G3WP Digital Camera

General Imaging has announced its latest digital camera, the G3WP. Granted, General Imaging isn't that big a name when it comes to cameras, but kudos to them for rolling out the G3WP. Features available include :-

  • 12.2 megapixel resolution

  • 4x optical zoom

  • 2.7' LCD display

You will also be able to bring this with you whenever you go to the beach, spend some time by the pool or even indulge in a little bit of snorkeling as it is waterproof up to depths of 10 feet. Additional features of this rudimentary digital camera include Face Detection with smile and blink detection, electronic image stabilization, red-eye removal, and sensitivity down to ISO 3200. The 116MB internal memory is there just in case you run out of SD/SDHC memory cards at that moment. No idea on pricing or availability, but we do know it will come in red, silver and black colors.
