Olympus-Asia unveiled its new high-powered Digital Camera, the Olympus E-520 for its Japanese customers. The Single-lens reflex Live View digital camera with an interchangeable lens system offers superior functionality and easier operation for perfect shots every-time. The 10 Mega-Pixel camera boasts a 4/3 type MOS sensor and a 2.7-inch HyperCrystal II LCD.
The Olympus E-520 incorporates SWD (Supersonic Wave Drive) actuators to shift the image sensor on camera movement to offer high resolution, blur-free, stabilized images. Its enhanced 11-point Auto focus Live View shooting capability takes digital imaging to a new level.
Other features include Face Detection with automatic exposure and shadow adjustment technology, CompactFlash Type I/II, Microdrive, xD-Picture Card compatibility, support for RAW/JPEG/RAW+JPEG file formats, High ISO up to 1600 with a maximum resolution of 3648 x 2736 dpi, High Speed USB and varied shooting modes.
