Canon EOS 450D / Digital Rebel XSi is a perfect entry level DSLR. Its sport mode captures fast moving objects flawlessly at 12.2 Megapixels. It does however; require you to understand certain input parameters in order to generate optimal result. If you are up for the challenge, the camera will take you far. While it is definitely not cheap, you will expect to get more bangs for your buck. Selling at around $800.
